FAQs

Q

There are two ports (MODEM and PHONE (or TEL)) in splitter. If I connect my phone device to the PHONE (TEL) port, can I use two phones at the same time?

A
You cannot use IP-Phone by directly connecting it to the splitter. You have to connect through your IP-Phone device. Please follow the wiring instructions written in the included manual.

■Wiring example to make calls from IP-Phone (E.g., ADSL modem with IP-Phone function)

If you directly connect your phone device to the PHONE (TEL) port of your splitter, the call will be made from ordinary telephone line and call charges will be billed from the telecommunications carrier (e.g., NTT) you are using.
