Q

FLET'S Hikari Next Course: What do I do when the connection speed of FLET'S Hikari Next Course is slow?

A
Please try the following.

Reboot your communication device
Try to see if the speed improves by turning off the power of your router, optical network unit (ONU), hub, or device (smartphone, PC, etc.) and then turn it on again.

If you are using a wireless LAN (WI-Fi)
The speed may improve by changing the frequency band of the signal you are connected to. If you are connected to a 2.4 GHz signal, the communication speed may slow down due to interference by other signals. In such case, reconnect to a 5 GHz signal. See the manual of your wireless LAN device for details. You can change the frequency band of most wireless LAN devices by just reconnecting to a different SSID (a name of wireless LAN signal).

Check your LAN cable
If you are using a LAN cable for your communication wiring, try pulling out the cable and then insert it again. Also, if you are using a long LAN cable, make sure no furniture is placed on it.

If you are using more than one device
Try if your connection speed improves with other device. If you the speed improves, there might be something wrong with your device. Please contact the manufacturer of the device.
