FLET'S Hikari Next Course: What do I do when I suddenly cannot connect to the internet using the FLET'S Hikari Next Course?

The situation may improve by checking the following.

  1. Check the line provider’s maintenance and outage information.

    NTT East: Maintenance/Outage Information (only in Japanese)
    NTT West: Maintenance/Outage Information (only in Japanese)

  2. Turn the power off of the optical network unit (ONU) or router, wait for about 15 minutes and turn it on again.

  3. If the lamp of the ONU or VDSL modem is either of the following, there may be a failure in the FLET'S line. Please contact NTT East/West.

    ONU:
    The 光回線 (= fiber-optic line) lamp is out
    The 認証 (= authentication) lamp is out

    VDSL modem:
    The VDSL or LINE lamp is out or blinking on a regular basis
    The FAIL lamp is red

    When you cannot connect to the internet even if the above-mentioned lamps are green, or if you are not sure, please contact the Technical Support.
