FLET'S Hikari Next Course: What do I do when I suddenly cannot connect to the internet using the FLET'S Hikari Next Course?

The situation may improve by checking the following.
- Check the line provider’s maintenance and outage information.
NTT East: Maintenance/Outage Information (only in Japanese)
NTT West: Maintenance/Outage Information (only in Japanese) - Turn the power off of the optical network unit (ONU) or router, wait for about 15 minutes and turn it on again.
- If the lamp of the ONU or VDSL modem is either of the following, there may be a failure in the FLET'S line. Please contact NTT East/West.
ONU:
The 光回線 (= fiber-optic line) lamp is out
The 認証 (= authentication) lamp is out
VDSL modem:
The VDSL or LINE lamp is out or blinking on a regular basis
The FAIL lamp is red
When you cannot connect to the internet even if the above-mentioned lamps are green, or if you are not sure, please contact the Technical Support.
