What do I do when my mailer becomes unavailable after running Windows Update?

We received reports that some members’ mailers have automatically switched to Outlook for Windows (Outlook [new]) after running Windows Update.
Currently, Outlook for Windows (Outlook [new]) is unavailable with Asahi Net.
Also, please note that the support of the standard Windows Mail will end on December 31, 2024.
