Fixed IP Address Option: Will my fixed IP address change when the fiber-optic line changes?

It depends on how you are connected to the internet.
■IPv4 connection (PPPoE)
If you are using the same connection service and the location of use does not change, you can keep the same IP address.
■IPv4 over IPv6 Connection (IPIP)
Your IP address will change when the fiber-optic line ID* changes.
A new connection setup information will be issued. Once it is issued, you will be informed by email.
* 13-digit alphanumeric characters starting with CAF or 11-digit alphanumeric characters starting with COP.
If you are subscribed to the FLET'S Hikari Next Course or FLET’S Hikari Cross Course, you are asked to take the steps to change your line ID via the IPv6 Connection Feature form on My Page.
